BIOGRAPHY

Produced by the legendary Alan Parsons (the Beatles, Pink Floyd, the Alan Parsons project) and the grunge Godfather Jack Endino (former producer of Nirvana and Soundgarden), UROCK deliver an eclectic mix of alternative British rock and punk, reminiscent and taking influence from the likes of Deep Purple, ACDC, Led Zeppelin, Punk Floyd, Royal Blood and Rival Sons amongst others.

Despite having just one release under their belts, UOCK are no stranger to the live music world having performed over 100 shows internationally, as well as festivals across Europe and beyond.

UROCK's debut album gained chart status with 'Saint Louis,' produced by Alan Parsons, reaching no. 2 in the rock category and no. 27 in the general Italian charts. The album made a strong impact in Italy thanks to the promotion by Radio Rock Italy and massive coverage throughout Italian press. After the release of the first album, UROCK toured extensively in the UK, Italy, Spain and Portugal, touring with the Alan Parson project in the UK and Italy, taking to the stage in clubs, theatres, stadiums and festivals, including the prestigious likes of London's O2 Shepherd Bush Empire and Rome's FORO ITALICO Stadium.

After months on end touring their debut album, UROCK once again invited Alan Parsons and Jack Endino to Europe to start work on their second record, also joined by American guitar player Alastair Greene (onsidered one fo the best rock blues  guitar players in the States), bringing his own touch and shaping the sound of the album. While Jack Endino brings his powerful sound and raw production, Alan Parsons compliments the more intimate, melodic and psychedelic side of the band, perfectly defining a blend of production styles.

Ian Gillan of Deep Purple has followed and greatly supported the band during the recording process of their new album from their first demos to the final master, bringing an unmeasurable contribution to the final result.

Stay tuned for news on tour dates and releases, including UROCK's second album, coming 2020.
